your feedback on Council’s priorities.
The survey can be found online here: http://goo.gl/forms/YfkQdQZWZt
We are asking all members to take a moment to fill out this survey, so that we
are better able to serve our region's 30,000 members.

What you need to know about voting in the federal election
There is less than a month to go until Canada’s 42nd federal election. Be ready to vote when polling stations open on October 19!
This week, Elections Canada mailed voter information cards
to all registered electors. Here is what you need to know about voter
registration:
- If you receive a card, it is an indication that you are a registered voter with Elections Canada.
- The voter information card provides you with the time, location and level of accessibility of your polling station (however, it cannot be used as proof of identity or address at the polls – find out what are the acceptable ID options).
- You should receive your voter information card by October 1.
- If you have not received a voter information card by this date, or if your address is written incorrectly, you can register or update your address online.
- The deadline to register online, update your address, to vote by mail or to vote in person at your local Elections Canada office, is October 13 at 6:00 pm.
- While we don't recommend waiting until election day, if you cannot register online, you can still vote by bringing the necessary ID and filling out a registration certificate at either an advance poll or on election day.
- Advance polling days are October 9 to 12.
